Stewart Park Birthday Bash

POSTPONED TO JULY 11 DUE TO STORM DAMAGE

Stewart Park opened to the public on July 4, 1921. We’ll celebrate Stewart Park’s centennial with a 100th birthday bash! We’re planning free carousel all day, remarks from Honorary Centennial Chairperson Mayor Svante Myrick and Friends of Stewart Park Executive Director Rick Manning, music from small ensembles of the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra and London McDaniel, a memory sharing booth with Story House Ithaca, and of course, birthday cupcakes!

The birthday party will roll right into Watermusic, with musical guests and other artists performing along the Cayuga Waterfront Trail until 5:30, including Ithaca Concert Band at the Tea Pavilion beginning at 4:30pm.

*Covid Safety- be sure to keep your distance from those not in your group
